Balkan Environmental Association, B.EN.A. İs an International nonprofit and nongovernmental scientific organization located in Greece with the scope of preserving environment and cultures of Balkan countries. B.EN.A.’a structure is based on a decentralized network consists of National Bureaus, Liaison Offices and International Centers and Offices located in members' countries. Liaison Offices have the mission to help conserve, improve and sustain natural resources and the environment and are in a position to identify emerging environmental issues. In accordance with BU-SDCPC’s purposes, a protocol signed with B.EN.A. And BU-SDCPC has been authorized as a Liaison Office. The opening ceremony of Balkan Environmental Association’s Turkey Liaison Office has been hosted by Boğaziçi University’s Özger Arnas Seminar Room on 27 August 2013 Tuesday and 18 academicians from Turkey and Greece have been participated.
