The Turkish The Turkish SDSN hosted a two-day high level workshop on the SDGs in the G20. The workshop discussed the challenges and opportunities that the SDGs in the G20 nations, and for the G20 as a cooperative governance process. Only two months after Heads of State and Government gather in New York to approve the SDGs, one week ahead of the G20 meeting in Antalya, Turkey, and two weeks before the COP21 climate negotiations in Paris, this event provided a crucial opportunity to discuss the role of the G20 countries in achieving the SDGs by 2030. The SDSN Networks from the G20 countries were partnering to find practical solutions, so participants were ready for practical brainstorming and suggestions for action.
