The presentation “Environmental Impact Assessment in Waste Management with Value Chain Analysis Approach” was made in the session “Sustainable Production and Consumption Policy Examples in Turkey and Their Impacts on Low Carbon Emissions: Ecolabelling and LCA Studies” by Prof. Dr. Nilgün Kıran Cılız who participated online in the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26).

To the session which was moderated by Expert Eyüp Kaan Moralı from the Turkish Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change - Climate Change and Adaptation Department, several other participants attended from the institutions and organizations such as the Turkish Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change (Ezgi Akgedik, Ecolabelling in Turkey: Turkish Environmental Labeling System), Global Ecolabelling Network (Bjørn Erik Lønn, Ecolabelling and the Reduction of Carbon Footprint Through Sustainable Purchase Concepts), TUBITAK-MAM (Dr. Şeyma Karahan Özbilen, Clean Production Methods and Their Connections with Climate Change), the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology (Belçim Aytekin Keskin, Turkey National Life Cycle Assessment Inventory Database), and Turkish Packaging Manufacturers Association (Aslıhan Arıkan, Packaging for Environmental Sustainability) to introduce the Turkish Environmental Labeling System.
